Gindis) and then Moscow Tchailovsky Conservatory, DMA under Prof. Vera Gornostaeva, who was a student of legendary H. Neuhaus--the teacher of Gilels and Richter.  Dr. Konovalov had numerous tours in Russia, Israel, Germany, England, Austria, USA, China, South Korea and Canada and collaborated with such distinguished conductors as Arnold Katz, Vassilij Sinaisky, Robert Bernhardt, Lu Sha, Alexei Kornienko and others.
