Would you like your child to excel in the RCM exams? We provide planned lessons designed to help you progress at an optimal level through the curriculum. Since music theory is a requirement to pass each level with certification, our teachers use this theory curriculum to enhance understanding and interest in the practical repertoire and to lay the foundation for the next level.

Accelerated Beginners Level: (from RCM Level 1 – Level 5)

Natural continuation of MYC into the RCM level structure; for children.
PreReq: Completion of Sunbeams2, MoonBeam3 or similar group music program, or “RCM prepA”, or Faber “Level 2A”. (around 6 years old)

• 1 x 30 min weekly piano (with option to add another 30 min)
• 1 x 30 min theory and ear training
• simulated RCM exams
• practice performance and academy recital

Intermediate Level: (for RCM Level 6-8)

PreReq: RCM Level 5 or equivalent

• 1 x 45 min weekly piano (with option to add another 45 min)
• 1 x 60 min theory and ear training
• simulated RCM exams
• practice performance and academy recital

Advanced Level: (for RCM Level 9 – ARCT, LRCM)

PreReq: RCM Level 8 or equivalent

• 1 x 60 min weekly piano (with option to add another 60 min)
• 1 x 60 min theory and ear training

• practice performance and academy recital
