Niki Hung graduated from the Royal College of Music with a Masters of Music in Performance (distinction) under the mentorship of Daniella Ganeva, Sam Walton, and Grahame King. She started her piano training at the age of 7 and percussion training at the age of 12 in Hong Kong. She attained the ATCL in Percussion Performance with a distinction under the tutelage of Dr. Lung Heung Wing, ABRSM grade 8 piano, and grade 8 music theory with distinction at her young age. In 2019, Niki received the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), studying with the percussionist of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Ms. Sophia Woo.

Niki is a keen music educator with experience in holding percussion classes and ensembles in various music centers, elementary and secondary schools, and private piano, percussion, and music theory lessons. As a fluent trilingual speaker of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Niki is able to convey musical knowledge and expression to students with different backgrounds and cultures.

Niki has served as a church piano accompanist for years, providing music service for several events throughout the year. As a percussion performer, Niki has worked with various organizations such as Hong Kong Festival Orchestra, Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra (HKYSO), Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band (HKYSB), Hong Kong Youth Windophilics, Hong Kong Strings, Gustav Mahler Orchestra, and Toolbox Percussion. In 2019, Hung joined the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra as a guest percussionist in the concert Sounds of Hong Kong.

Niki actively participated in international music festivals. In 2015, Hung participated in the International Music Festival EURASIA, and also participated in the 24th Chiayi City International Band Festival. In 2017, Niki participated in International Katarzyna Myćka Marimba Academy VIII in Arcata, Caifornia. In 2018 summer, she also participated in the Beta Percussion International Institute at the University of Oregon, the U.S. Many public solo, ensemble, and concert performances are given by Niki. During her master’s study in London, U.K., Niki successfully gave solo and concerto performances to the public at the Royal College of Music. She performed as a marimba soloist in percussion showcases and lunchtime concerts. During her last year of study, she was promoted as a marimbist to perform Journey through a Japanese Landscape, a marimba concerto with wind orchestra, written by Thea Musgrave, with RCM Wind Orchestra.

In Hong Kong, Niki performed premiere pieces such as the percussion trio L’espirt de la forêt composed by Dr. Kai-young CHAN in The Percussion Tale of Two Cities concert held by Toolbox Percussion, and Urban Soundscape II for 4 percussionists and wind orchestra composed by Dr.Hau-man LO in Chung Chi Wind Orchestra concert. She also staged as a soloist performing Cuico, 3 percussion solos with the band by Greg Danner with CCWO in November 2018. In February 2019, Hung collaborated with international marimbist and percussionist Kana Omori in to perform a public percussion ensemble concert, performing her arrangement Jounetsu Tairiku and a well-known percussion piece Marimba Spiritual.

，在龍向榮博士的指導下，Niki以優異成績考獲英國皇家音樂學院鋼琴及樂理八級，以及
英國倫敦聖三一音樂學院打擊樂演奏文憑，其後於香港中文大學師隨香港管弦樂團打擊樂
手胡淑徽女士鑽研打擊樂，並於2019年完成音樂學士課程。

除了打擊樂演奏，Niki熱衷於音樂教學，擁有多年教授音樂中心、中小學打擊樂課
程和合奏的經驗。她亦為私人打擊樂、鋼琴及樂理導師。Niki以英語、廣東話及普
通話傳授音樂知識和演奏技巧予不同背景和文化的學生。
Niki已有多年教會鋼琴伴奏經驗，在不同活動中提供音樂事奉。她亦以打擊樂手身
份與不同的團體演出，包括香港節日樂團、香港青年交響樂團、香港青年管樂團、
香港弦樂團、香港馬勒樂團和敲擊襄等等。在2019年，Niki以特約打敲樂手身份與
香港管弦樂團演出。

在修讀打擊樂其間，Niki到世界各地參與音樂節，與不同地方的打擊樂手交流，包
括在俄羅斯的歐亞國際音樂節、台灣的第二十四屆嘉義市國際管樂節、位於美國加
州的國際Katarzyna Myćka馬林巴琴音樂節和俄勒岡州的Beta打擊樂國際訓練班。
Niki積極在不同的公開場合以獨奏、合奏和樂團形式演出。在英國倫敦修讀音樂演
奏碩士期間，她在打擊樂音樂會和午間音樂演出獨奏和合奏作品。在最後一個修讀
年被選為馬林巴琴獨奏樂手，在皇家音樂學院管樂團音樂會演出西婭．馬斯格雷夫
的馬林巴琴協奏曲《日本的風景》。

Niki亦參與不同的打擊樂合奏首演，包括陳啟揚博士的打擊樂三重奏《L’espirt de la
forêt》，盧厚敏博士的《城市聲景II》。另外，Niki亦在2018年崇基管弦樂團中演出
格雷格．丹納的打擊樂三重奏協奏曲《Cuico》。在2019年與來自日本的國際馬林
巴琴演奏家大森香奈演出，演奏她改編的《情熱大陸》和著名的打擊樂作品《木琴靈歌》。
