Dr. Boris Konovalov received his education from Novosibirsk Glinka Conservatory,MD (under Prof. S. Gindis) and then Moscow Tchailovsky Conservatory, DMA under Prof. Vera Gornostaeva, who was a student of legendary H. Neuhaus–the teacher of Gilels and Richter. 

Dr. Konovalov had numerous tours in Russia, Israel, Germany, England, Austria, USA, China, South Korea and Canada and collaborated with such distinguished conductors as Arnold Katz, Vassilij Sinaisky, Robert Bernhardt, Lu Sha, Alexei Kornienko and others.

Boris Konovalovs teaching experience includes Professor’s positions at Novosibirsk Glinka Conservatory (Russia), Jerusalem Rubin Academy and Mevasseret-Zion music Conservatory (Israel), Alberta College – Music Conservatory (Edmonton, Canada). 

He has been invited to teach masterclasses at,among other institutions: University of Arizona, Sapporo Music Conservatory, Baunatal Conservatory in Germany and Phoenix State University.
