Serena Chen has completed her ARCT piano performance diploma. She is a pianist and accompanist who was an undergraduate of the Faculty of Music at the University of British Columbia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, learning under pianist Dr. Corey Hamm.
Serena began formal piano lessons around the age of ten and realized her passion for music in her early adolescent years. Since then, she has received numerous awards from local competitions and has received multiple academic scholarships from UBC music. Ms. Chen has teaching experience from children to seniors. She believes everyone can learn the piano regardless of age. With patience, curiosity and perseverance, everyone can experience the joy of learning music in their daily lives.
