Martin Wu is a distinguished pianist and seasoned music educator with dual bachelor’s degrees in piano and economics. He trained under the esteemed Professor Olga Beltiukova, Associate Professor and Head of the Piano Faculty at the Belarusian State Academy of Music. He has also received guidance from acclaimed pianists such as Dr. David Fung, Professor of Piano at both the Manhattan School of Music and the University of British Columbia School of Music (where he serves as Associate Director of Graduate Studies), as well as Martín García García, third prize winner at the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition and first prize laureate at the Cleveland International Piano Competition. Additionally, he studied pop music with David Osborne, celebrated as the “Pianist to the Presidents”.
With over 20 years of rich experience in music education for both children and adults, Martin is known for his innovative approach in overcoming academic challenges, including aversion to learning and addressing family conflicts arising from educational pressures. His outgoing personality and passion for music enable him to bring a unique perspective to unlocking children’s potential, nurturing their love for music, and offering invaluable guidance for future planning.
In addition to his accomplishments as a pianist, Martin has traveled to nearly 200 cities across 25 countries, bringing a global perspective to his work.
