Oskar Falta

Oskar Falta was born in Prague, Czech Republic.

 

A recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he was a recipient of the Vivian Joseph Scholarship, he has previously attended the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in the class of Prof.

Elvira Lagji is a teacher of choice for students who seek efficient, effective and measurable progress in learning the cello. Her students range from early to advanced levels She has a graduate degree from University in Tirana, Albania (equiv. to Masters in Canada) and has a history of success with students both in Canada and Europe. She has had advanced training in pedagogy and is active as solo and orchestral cello performer. Her students have done well in both local, national and international competitions.

Bo Peng

Mr. Bo Peng holds a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of North Texas, a Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music, as well as a Performer’s Diploma from the Indiana University where he studied with distinguished cellist Janos Starker. His teachers also included renowned cellists Steven Doane, Carter Enyeart, Marc Johnson and Eric Wilson.
