BOOK LESSONS WITH ME NOW

Danielle Lee is an emerging artist based in the Greater Vancouver area. In her formative youth, she studied under Professor Xu Lujia and had the opportunity to perform in the Beijing Conservatory of Music. She later completed her Bachelor of Music Degree with the guidance of Professor Mark Anderson at UBC. Both a classically trained pianist and ballet dancer, she enjoyed having success at competitions and recitals. Her passion in these two streams culminated in a career path which led her to being the avid artist that she is today.

As a freelance musician, Danielle has coached many instrumentalists that have garnered much success in exams as well as the Richmond Music Festival and Kiwanis competitions. She has also been invited to perform in high-profile occasions, having showcased with Fazioli and performed with renowned vocal group Il Divo.

An experienced church musician, Danielle has dedicated her time to serve as pianist and guest conductor while guiding today’s youth through fellowship and choir. In the recent past, she has served as principle pianist with the Vancouver Oratorio Society as well as Willingdon Church.

Currently, Danielle is a research assistant under Dr. Bob Pritchard at UBC where she helps develop Tracking and Smart Textiles Environment (TASTE) for use by dancers and musicians for performance. Through this, she hopes to bring light to how new music and art styles can expand classical understanding.
