Starting his musical education at the age of seven, Damien Lee instantly discovered his passion for music ever since he first stepped foot on stage.  Born and raised in Vancouver, Damien studied piano under the guidance of Edward Parker, Winfried Rompf, Lorraine Ambrose, Jamie Parker, David Moroz, and Corey Hamm.  He has also had the opportunity to work with other mentors including Angela Cheng, Jane Coop, Rena Sharon, Sarah Davis Buechner, Henri-Paul Sicsic, Marietta Orlov, Marc Durand, Lee Kum Sing, and John Perry.

Receiving his Bachelors of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Toronto, Damien has also attended the University of British Columbia, and the Vancouver Academy of Music where he performed his debut solo concert at the Koerner Recital Hall.  Damien also performed in other local venues including both the Chan Centre and the Gateway Theatre on various occasions, and the Orpheum Theatre to a near sold out concert event.  Damien has had the opportunity to perform with various orchestras including the UBC Symphony Orchestra, the Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, the Pilgrim Symphony Orchestra, and on several occasions, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Teaching for over twenty years, Damien is now an active music teacher, pianist, and collaborative artist, teaching students of all ages throughout the greater Vancouver area.  Damien has also been an active member within several music organizations, and continues to perform and collaborate with other local musicians.
